Family Development Program
The Family Development Program at the Nanaimo Child Development Centre offers personalized support to parents and guardians of children from birth to age 6. Family Development Consultants provide therapeutic services, education, and information on topics such as parenting, child development, family relationships, and advocacy.
The program aims to enhance family relationships and empower parents with the knowledge and skills needed to support their children's development. Referrals can be made by parents, doctors, public health nurses, or other professionals.
