Feeling Artful

Feeling Artful is all about supporting children's emotional health.  Chantelle Wakely and Shannon Hermsen, Co-Founders of Feeling Artful are sisters living in the beautiful provinces of Alberta, and British Columbia Canada. 

Our original product is our Children's Colouring and Activity Book designed to help children learn and discover their emotions through recognition, positivity, and by exploring a variety of self-regulation strategies.

 

We have also created an online directory to easily access a list of children's Mental Health Professionals, and other Free Resources in all major cities within 

Alberta and British Columbia, Canada.

Shannon Hermsen

Business Management

Calgary, Alberta

Shannon Hermsen, Co-Founder of Feeling Artful is a mom of three lovely children living in Calgary, Alberta. Shannon grew up in the small towns of Quesnel and Williams Lake BC. Before branching into administrative management, Shannon spent several years as a support worker for persons with physical and developmental disabilities.

Shannon obtained a Certificate in Business Management from the University of Calgary.  With over a decade of experience in administrative roles, customer service, and optimizing business operations, Shannon embodies enthusiasm and innovation in her professional endeavors.

Chantelle Wakely

Health Care Professional

Nanaimo, BC

Chantelle Wakely, Co-Founder of Feeling Artful is a mom to two beautiful children residing in Nanaimo, BC. Chantelle is currently working in her community as Health Care Worker.  Chantelle's professional backround began as an ECEA in preschool settings, and as a nanny for almost a decade.

Chantelle was previously employed with Nanaimo's Child Development Centre working to facilitate support groups for parents with children of diverse needs, support groups connecting parents and other caregivers, as well as direct childminding experience within the centre.

Chantelle is a loving mother with a dream to help others and to help children learn to express themselves in their own unique way!
