Hope for Wellness Helpline is a national, 24/7 support service providing immediate and confidential assistance to Indigenous peoples across Canada, including First Nations, Inuit, and Métis. The helpline is designed to offer culturally sensitive counseling and support for individuals experiencing emotional distress, mental health challenges, or crisis situations, including thoughts of suicide. Services are available by phone and online chat, with trained counselors providing compassionate guidance, safety planning, and referrals to local mental health resources.


The helpline is available in English, French, Cree, Ojibway, and Inuktitut (telephone only), ensuring accessible support for Indigenous individuals and communities nationwide. Hope for Wellness serves as a vital resource for promoting emotional well-being, resilience, and connection to culturally appropriate care for Indigenous children, youth, and adults.
