Black Youth Helpline

Support for Black youth and families across Canada.

Black Youth Helpline is a Canada-wide support service dedicated to the mental health and well-being of Black youth and their families. It provides confidential, culturally relevant support through phone and online channels, helping young people navigate challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, bullying, and identity-related concerns. Trained counselors and volunteers offer emotional support, guidance, and referrals to local community resources, ensuring that youth have access to appropriate care.

The helpline emphasizes cultural understanding and empowerment, recognizing the unique experiences and systemic challenges faced by Black youth in Canada. It serves as a safe space where young people can express themselves openly, develop coping strategies, and build resilience in a supportive environment.
